Reflooring old wood with new wood (Estate Oak)

Bedroom 1: Removing the first 2 pieces of old wood flooring

Removed about 25% of old wood:

Ended up using a rental from Home Depot since the wood was cemented onto the concrete -_- (That's Jen)

New Estate Oak wood, about 67% done:

About 90% done with Bedroom 1 (thanks for the help Jocelyn)

Bedroom 2 was much easier, removing old wood planks:

Inserting new wood, 10% done :p (That's Jocelyn, again):

About 50% done :)

The finished product for Bedroom 2!

Tough work, took about 11-12 hours. Materials cost about $450 (Got them on sale at Home Depot + 10% coupon). Labor would have been close to $3,500 had we hired someone.

Next task: Inserting tiles into the hallway, closets, living room, dining room and family room :(

Task 2: Resurfacing the garage floor :(

Yep, this is how I spend Christmas break :(
